Prevention and Control of Fever
Most children suffer from fever. It disturbs the life of both parents as well as children, therefore its good to prevent it. Some important precautions are as follows,
Personal hygiene
- It is studied that most children suffer from fever due to infection by pathogens
- So best way to prevent fever is personal hygiene
- Strictly warn your child to wash hands before eating food and after visiting the toilet with soap
- Wash hands after coming from crowd. Most infections are transferred from personal contact
- After visiting the patient
- Petting animals
- You can show your child how to wash hands
- Teach your child good habits like covering mouth and nose while sneezing and coughing
- Wash fruits and vegetables before eating
Diet for fever
Avoid diet with toxins
- In regular routine strictly avoid food products containing toxins
- To increase milk production- the recombinant bovine hormone injected to the cows.
- It can induce heart disease and other problems
- Do not eat food with added additives e.g. yellow-orange coloured tartrazine
- Avoid artificial sweeteners
- Do not eat antibiotics unnecessary
- avoid extra salt consumption
Eat
- Use of natural salt in diet
- Eat green vegetables
- Take care that your regular diet contains fruits
- Olive oil is good for your health
- Understand what your body can tolerate. Some people are sensitive to some elements and chemicals in the diet
- Avoid food which your body can not tolerate

- To prevent and control fever body cleansing is necessary
- Cleansing of body is good for adult as well as children
- In our body many toxins are held by internal organs like liver and kidney
- These toxins are harmful for the body and can lead to health problems including fever

Cleansing

Sweating
- Sweating is good to prevent and control fever
- Sweating helps in removing waste products from the body and cooling the body surface
- Do exercise with lot of cloths, drink hot tea in hot environment. It will lead to sweating
