What is Gluten?

Gluten is the rubbery and elastic protein that present in wheat, barley and rye. However, rice and maize do not contain gluten. It helps to dough the bind that you will find in baked breads and other food. These grains containing gluten may cause allergy.

The symptoms of the allergy may vary from one person to another in which the person may experience the symptoms such as hives, abdominal cramps, swelling, vomiting and nausea. There may be life-threatening symptoms also in case of the person if he is highly sensitive to this type of allergy.
