Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder are really mental disarray whichthat childrene childhood. Normally children are careless and overact but the children suffering from ADHD feel, act and think differently. This disease changes the behavior of those children extremely.
Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder occur in 8 to 10 percent of the school age children. In some cases it decreases at youth level but if could continue to the adults.
Children suffer from this are not able to concentrate on their study, continuously move around have very less school presentation as compared with normal child.
Types of ADHD:
There are three types of ADHD and the types are according to the ADHD symptoms found in the affected person.

1. Inattentive ADHD type:
This includes:
- Incapability to give attention to the facts or careless activities about the school and other actions.
- Problem in giving attention on any games or any other tasks.
- Unable to listen clearly.
- Unable to follow instructions given by others.
- They have problems with performing in the group.
- Dislike and avoid the tasks which require mental effort.
- They may lose the things and activities such as books, toys, any work etc.
- Sometime get unfocused.
- Inclined to forget routine activities.
- Often does not give close attention to details or makes silly mistakes in schoolwork or other activities.
2. Hyperactive-impulsive ADHD type:
This includes:
- Be restless and twist with body
- Complexity remaining with the seat
- Difficulty in climbing and extreme running
- Difficulty may occur after playing and after extreme talk
- Before hearing the whole question, exclaim out answers
- Difficulty at the time of waiting in the line
- Troubles occur after interrupting
3. Combined ADHD type:
This is the mixture of other two types It is difficult to raise the child suffering from ADHD. Important factor is to keep in mind tthese children are not bad but they acted differently. Children those have trouble to control the behavior without any medication and therapy.
Children are more prone to ADHD:
ADHD influences on the schoolwork of children as well as relationship with the members in family and with friends. The ADHD child doesn't understand what is going on in the school. When the teacher is explaining something that time he or she is imagining another thing and so it frustrates everybody around.

Inhibition means controlling attitude, speech, gesture etc. but ADHD causes problems in the inhibition. Child becomes moody and overacting and these problems occur because of neurological disorder. They interrupt the conversation, ask unrelated questions, do not observe correctly and unable to express themselves openly in front of others.

- Energy, drive, and resolve - Youngsters suffering from ADHD can play very well and struggle for the success. Sometimes it may say that ADHD child is a gift of the god.
ADHD Symptoms:

- Activation: Problems with organization, prioritizing, and starting tasks.
- Focus: Problems with sustaining focus and resisting distraction, especially with reading.
- Emotion: Difficulty regulating emotions and managing stress.
- Effort: Problems with motivation, sustained effort, and persistence.
- Action: Problems with self-control and self-regulation.
- Memory: Problems with short-term memory and memory retrieval.
Diagnosis of ADHD Symptoms:
ADHD is analyzed by the doctor with the help of family of that child and following experts also included:
- It includes resource master, regular and special type of education
- Speech language pathologists (SLP)
- Nurses
- Psychologists
- Employers when they are applicable
Speech Language Pathologists diagnose by following methods:
- By observing the interaction with friends, family and in classroom or at work place.
- Examining conversation with the family members and parents.
- According to age observe self- awareness, needs and the difficulties of a child.
- Estimate the ability of explaining a story and chaining the events sequences together.
- Communication skill
ADHD Treatments:
Start of the Medication:
Start the medication when the parents and the child both of them are educated and well known with the medicine and treatment.
Language Treatment on the ADHD:
This treatment varies from child to child. Effects of ADHD are different in different children.
- Physician work with student and family to fix the medicine. After this SLP will work with other professionals for examining student's pre and post behavior after taking medicine.
- Physician first checks how long medicine will take time to make its effect on the patient.
- These tests are taken only for observation to adjust dose, time and type of medication.
- In this type of treatment physician work with teachers and change the environment of classroom according to ADHD child such as changing the sitting arrangement.
- Language treatment will concentrate on individualized language target like changing the teaching skill and study skill. But this target is different for different student.
Medicine:
Pharmacotherapy is one of the treatments for ADHD children. Methylphenidate is one of the medicine which is commonly used and contain drugs namely Ritalina, Ritalin, Ritalin-SR, Ritaline, Concerta, Ritalin LA, Penid, Attenta, Focalin, Rubifen, Metadate and Daytrana.
Below listed are the causes of ADHD:
Poor parenting is not the exact cause of the ADHD, and also not just because of more sugar intake or vaccinations.
ADHD has unpredictable biological origins and so not yet proved medically. Still now it is not possible to identify the specific reason of suffering from ADHD, but possible genetic and environmental research is going on as it is found that it is seen in the children of those who suffer from it previously.
It is found in the recent research work that smoking while pregnant cause the ADHD in a child of that lady. Premature delivery, very low weight of an infant and brain injuries at the birth time are also leading causes of ADHD.
